Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd. is seeking a diligent Lab & Admin Assistant to support lesson preparations, procure materials, and maintain inventory in the Singapore facility.

You will assist with practical activities and basic gardening, keep areas clean, and provide general admin support. Candidates should be Singapore Citizens with O-Level qualifications and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Singapore Citizen.
• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification.
• Pleasant personality with basic knowledge of laboratory apparatus and equipment.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Some gardening experience.
• Able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing resources and materials for lessons and related activities.
• Support the procurement of materials and supplies when required.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Keep laboratory and designated work areas clean and organised.
• Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist with practical activities, experiments, enrichment programmes and basic gardening tasks.
• Support the upkeep of designated outdoor and indoor planting areas.
• Provide general administrative support, including answering phone calls, attending to enquiries, filing and distributing materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duration/Working Hours

12 months contract - subj to extension of 24 months (Jan 2027 to Dec 2027)

(Service not required on 29 May 2027 to 27 June 2027 and 1 Dec 2027 to 31 Dec 2027)

• Monday to Friday, 7:30am–2:00pm: Science Laboratory duties, inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break.
• Monday to Friday, 2:00pm–4:30pm: Administrative duties.
• Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays.

Service is not required on scheduled school holidays, including Youth Day, the day after National Day, Teachers' Day and Children's Day, and the salary will be prorated accordingly.
