Responsibilities

• Open and secure laboratory doors and windows to maintain safety and security.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of laboratory workspaces, equipment and designated school areas.
• Assist with preparing apparatus, equipment and chemical reagents for science practical lessons.
• Clean, maintain and store laboratory apparatus, equipment and materials appropriately.
• Support STEM instructors and perform other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Science Lab Attendant (Junior College - Serangoon) x1

Salary: $2,250/month

Contract Duration: 1 year, with option to extend for another year

Contract Period: January 2027 - December 2027

Working Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00am-5:15pm
Wednesday: 8:00am-4:45pm
All working hours include a 45-minute lunch break.

During examination periods, work may start at 7:00am. Time off in lieu will be granted for additional hours worked beyond the stipulated hours.

A 30-minute lunch break option is available, with working hours shortened by 15 minutes per day.

Working Days: Monday-Friday

Service Exclusions: Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
