Job summary

LPS is seeking a Scientific IT Officer (SITO) to manage daily IT support and long-term technology strategy. The role covers troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, macOS, and iPadOS, plus coordinating end-to-end IT projects from ideation to completion.

The candidate will handle onboarding/offboarding, software deployment, asset management, and SOP documentation, with a focus on meeting SLA through ServiceNow ticketing and remote support when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of endpoint support and project handling.
• Experience across Windows/Linux/Mac OS/iPad environments.
• Knowledge of AD, GPO, Intune, MAM, MDM.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work in team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 desktop support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, VPN.
• Assist in installation, upgrades, imaging, and software deployment across Windows/Linux/Mac/iPad.
• Troubleshoot MS 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PPT).
• Deliver end-user incident resolution via desktop and remote support.
• Onboard/offboard users and manage tech refresh and OS patches.
• Maintain asset records and perform year-end inventory checks.
• Document detailed notes and update tickets in ServiceNow with status updates.
• Create and update SOPs and technical documents.
• Plan and track hardware assets and licenses; ensure vendor contract compliance.
• Take ownership of projects or assist the PM to coordinate stakeholders.
