Job summary

ADECCO Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a School Support Assistant to back Science activities and administrative operations within a school setting in Sembawang, Singapore. This role involves preparing materials, managing labs, assisting teachers and handling reception duties.

Ideal candidates will have up to 1 year of lab experience in schools and frontline or office admin exposure. Contract is for 1 year with possible extension based on performance and school needs.

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year of relevant laboratory experience in a school setting.
• Preferably 1 year of frontline or office administration experience in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, teaching aids and experiments to enable science activities.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and organisation of science laboratories.
• Manage laboratory supplies by tracking inventory and stock records.
• Assist teachers during science activities to facilitate smooth execution.
• Greet visitors and respond to phone enquiries promptly and professionally.
• Provide administrative support including printing, scanning, filing and basic data entry.
• Assist students who are unwell, late or leaving school early to address their needs.
• Perform other administrative duties to maintain office efficiency.
