Job summary

Greensafe International Pte Ltd is seeking a Facilities Assistant to maintain cleanliness and assist with daily operations across classrooms, offices, and common areas.

You will support school events, manage basic security tasks, and work with the Operations Manager on facilities duties while ensuring safety and orderly closures after school. Experience in similar roles and PSLE certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Maintains cleanliness and upkeep of classrooms, labs, offices and common areas.
• Supports event logistics including setup, furniture movement and post-event cleanup.
• Locks/unlocks doors and windows to ensure site security.
• Assists Operations Manager with facilities tasks and reporting faults.
• Performs regular checks to ensure areas are well-maintained and safe.
• Familiar with fire alarm system and basic safety protocols.
• Handles after-school closing duties (locking gates, extinguishing lights, etc.).
• Restores electricity by resetting circuit breakers during outages.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, special rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Support logistics for school events and daily activities (setup, moving furniture/equipment, cleanup).
• Ensure security by locking/unlocking doors, windows, and shutters.
• Assist Operations Manager with facilities management, vendor escorting, pest control, and reporting faults.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure areas are well-maintained.
• Arm and disarm the security system.
• Carry out after-school closing duties (lock gates/shutters, switch off lights/fans/aircon, lock classrooms).
• Familiarise with and reset the fire alarm system.
• Restore electricity supply by resetting circuit breakers during power failures.
• Support science labs with general cleaning and simple material preparation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
