Job summary

GREENSAFE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable Kitchen Assistant to support daily food preparation and hygiene standards at our Singapore facility.

You will portion ingredients, check deliveries, label and store items, and assist teachers with administrative tasks to ensure smooth lessons. Requirements include at least 1 year of related experience, knowledge of food safety, and strong teamwork, organisation, time management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Good knowledge of food and kitchen safety; WSQ Food Safety Level 1 preferred.
• Team player with good organisation, time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion and distribute food ingredients daily before practical lessons.
• Assist with weekly ingredient orders and receive vendor deliveries.
• Check and verify deliveries for quantity, quality and specifications.
• Label, store and maintain ingredients per food safety standards including stock rotation.
• Conduct regular inventory checks of ingredients, utensils, equipment and supplies.
• Inspect kitchen equipment and utensils for cleanliness and functionality; report defects promptly.
• Ensure general upkeep, cleanliness, hygiene and safety of NFS Special Rooms.
• Perform basic administrative and office duties to support teachers.
• Carry out general cleaning.
