Job summary

Greensafe International Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Kitchen Support Assistant to prepare and portion ingredients daily, assist with orders, and ensure deliveries meet quality standards. You will label and rotate stock, conduct inventories, and keep workstations clean and safe.

Role requires at least 1 year in kitchen or food service, good organisation, and solid communication skills. WSQ Food Safety Level 1 preferred; on-site role with regular cleaning duties to support teachers.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant working experience in kitchen or food service.
• Good knowledge of food and kitchen safety; WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 preferred.
• Team player with strong organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and distribute food ingredients daily before practical lessons.
• Assist with weekly food ingredient orders and receive vendor deliveries.
• Check and verify deliveries for quantity, quality, and specifications.
• Label, store, and maintain ingredients per food safety standards including stock rotation.
• Conduct regular inventory checks of ingredients, utensils, equipment, and supplies.
• Inspect kitchen equipment and utensils for cleanliness and functionality; report defects promptly.
• Ensure general upkeep, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety of NFS Special Rooms.
• Perform basic administrative tasks to support teachers
• Carry out general cleaning
