Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking an ICT Trainer to prepare and deliver ICT training for school students, aligning with the school’s plan. You will work with Google Workspace, MS Office, iPad apps like Procreate, and AI tools while developing materials and supervising ICT projects.

You will conduct lessons, support ALP PDLP, manage events with videography, assist with AVA coverage, and collaborate with teachers on software usage and training for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in IT or multimedia related field.
• Ability to deliver engaging ICT training to secondary students and maintain classroom discipline.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sites/Classroom/Docs).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/OneDrive).
• Familiarity with emerging AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini).
• Proficient in iPad apps (Apple Classroom, Pages, Notes, Calendar, Reminders).
• Basic photography and videography skills.
• Ability to train staff and students on listed ICT software/apps.

Job description

Job Scope

• Prepare training materials, implement, evaluate, and review the training programs for school students in alignment with school’s strategic plan and philosophy.

• Proficient in Google Workspace like Google Classroom, Docs, Sites and more, and the usage of iPad apps such as Procreate.

• Knowledgeable with productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and the use of different AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini etc.

• Conduct ICT lessons on the use of the apps in Google Workspace, iPad applications such as Procreate, e-portfolio creation using Google Sites, MS Office and AI tools for our students.

• Prepare teaching materials/resources, exercises, and projects for the students together with the teachers for the ALP curriculum on needs basis.

• Assist to manage, survey, monitor, and evaluate the progress of ICT projects/assignments such as the National Digital Explorer (NDE) and Code For Fun (CFF) and AI programmes.

• Assist in the execution of Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP) in the school such as to conduct the training for students and student champions on use of their Personal Learning Devices (iPads), liaising and working closely with appointed supplier and resolving any device issues experienced by students.

• Promote good data management habits to staff and students such as regularly backing up data and data housekeeping.

• Provide administrative support for the ICT department.

• Support the school in promoting the use of the Google Classroom, Google Calendar and Google Sites which includes conducting the required training for students.

• Support the school in promoting the use of the Microsoft Teams, Microsoft OneDrive and other ICT tools which includes conducting the required training for staff and students.

• Work closely with teachers and providing advice/suggestions in software usage and other ICT-related issues.

• Train and support teachers and students on the use of the apps and software mentioned earlier for teaching and learning.

• Support teachers by providing videography support during lesson observations when needed, and creating videos for school events, staff training and sharing purposes.

• Provide event coverage using photography/videography, as well as AVA support for school events.

• Train student leaders and assist with managing and operating of AVA equipment as part of the AVA CCA.

• Assist in managing the school website.

Requirements

• Minimum DIPLOMA in the relevant discipline (IT and multimedia related)
• Ability to deliver training programs to secondary students & maintain classroom discipline
• Proficient in Google Workspace such as Google Sites, Google Classroom and Google Docs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive
• Proficient in emerging AI tools
• Proficient in iPad apps such as Apple Classroom, Pages, Notes, Calendar and Reminders.
• Have basic Photography and Videography skills.
• Ability to provide training for staffs and students on the ICT software or apps listed.

Contract Period: From 4 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027.

Working Arrangement

• Mondays – Fridays: 7am – 3pm (1 hour lunchtime).
• Additional assistance might be needed on Saturdays / Sundays when school is having special activities. Personnel will be informed in advance when the need arises

Salary: $2,800 – $3,200 per month
