Job summary

Canberra Secondary School in Singapore seeks an ICT trainer to develop and deliver ICT training for secondary students, aligned with the school's strategic plan. You will lead lessons on Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, AI tools, and iPad apps, while building training materials and maintaining classroom discipline.

The role includes preparing teaching materials, supporting ICT projects and PDLP, and assisting with data management and school events. Some weekend activities may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or multimedia related field.
• Ability to deliver training programs to secondary students & maintain classroom discipline.
• Proficient in Google Workspace such as Google Sites, Google Classroom and Google Docs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive.
• Proficient in emerging AI tools.
• Proficient in iPad apps such as Apple Classroom, Pages, Notes, Calendar and Reminders.
• Have basic Photography and Videography skills.
• Ability to provide training for staff and students on ICT software or apps listed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare training materials, implement, evaluate, and review ICT training for students.
• Be proficient in Google Workspace and iPad apps for teaching.
• Be knowledgeable with productivity software (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/OneDrive) and AI tools.
• Conduct ICT lessons on apps in Google Workspace and iPad apps.
• Prepare teaching materials and projects for ALP curriculum as needed.
• Assist in monitoring progress of ICT projects and AI programmes.
• Support PDLP training for students using devices and apps.
• Promote good data management habits to staff and students.
• Provide admin support for ICT department.
• Promote Google Classroom/Calendar/Sites and Microsoft Teams/OneDrive usage and training.
