Job summary

Ministry of Education - Schools in Singapore is seeking an Operations Manager to ensure the school's infrastructure, facilities and support services run safely and effectively. You will lead the Operations Support Officers in daily operations and coordinate with campus stakeholders to maintain a secure learning environment.

The role requires strong organisational and people skills, knowledge of estate and facilities management, and familiarity with safety planning.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational, managerial and communication skills.
• Experience in estate/facilities management, logistics, safety and emergency planning preferred.
• FSM or Senior FSM certification preferred; if not held, eligibility to attend FSM course within six months of joining.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and improvement of school facilities to ensure a safe, conducive learning environment.
• Lead OSOs and supervise vendors (Managing Agents and Term Contractors) for infra works and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the Vice-Principal (Administration) and Administration Manager on infrastructure planning and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and support safety and student discipline-related matters when required.
