Ministry of Education - Schools in Singapore is seeking an Operations Manager to ensure the school's infrastructure, facilities and support services run safely and effectively. You will lead the Operations Support Officers in daily operations and coordinate with campus stakeholders to maintain a secure learning environment.
The role requires strong organisational and people skills, knowledge of estate and facilities management, and familiarity with safety planning.
The Operations Manager plays a key role in ensuring that the school's infrastructure, facilities and operational support services are effectively managed to provide a safe, secure and conducive environment for teaching and learning. The role leads and supervises a team of Operations Support Officers (OSOs) in supporting the smooth and safe running of school operations.
You will oversee the maintenance and improvement of school facilities to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment. You will also lead a team of OSOs in supporting day-to-day school operations, and supervise vendors, including Managing Agents and Term Contractors, in carrying out infrastructure, facilities improvement and maintenance works. You will also work closely with the Vice-Principal (Administration), Administration Manager and other stakeholders to manage infrastructure planning, infrastructure-related budgets and evaluate project proposals. In addition, you will ensure compliance with safety regulations, implement school safety protocols, and support school operational and security matters, including student discipline-related matters where required.
