Job summary

Hapag-Lloyd is seeking a Scheduling Data Control professional to identify and rectify data gaps, build knowledge of FIS3 workflows, and implement automation to streamline scheduling processes. You will monitor data quality, coordinate with multiple departments, and support continuous improvement of scheduling reliability.

The role emphasizes data handling, system literacy, and collaboration with Marine Operations and commercial teams to reduce errors and improve timeliness.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marine Studies, Logistics, or related field with 3–5 years experience.
• Experience in vessel operations, scheduling or marine operations.
• Knowledge of FIS / FIS3 scheduling processes or ability to learn quickly.
• Understanding of schedule data, voyage structures, RVT, ETA/ETB/ETD logic.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Automation literacy: Excel VBA, Python, Power Query, Power Automate, SQL.
• Able to understand data validation, exception handling, and basic automation.
• Strong attention to detail, structured work style, clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling Data Control: identify gaps early to minimise impact on operations.
• FIS3 Adoption and Process Improvement: learn workflows and support transitions.
• Automation and Proactive Monitoring: identify repetitive tasks and build rules, dashboards or alerts.
• Coordinate with Marine Operations, Network Execution, Terminal Performance, Commercial, Customer Service and partners.
