GMP RECRUITMENT SERVICES (S) PTE LTD is seeking a capable Project Planner to support planning, scheduling and project controls for multi-discipline construction projects in Singapore. You will develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6, monitor progress, perform delay analyses and coordinate with engineers, procurement and construction teams to keep milestones on track.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining project schedules.
• Good understanding of project planning methodologies, critical path analysis, schedule performance monitoring and delay recovery planning.
• Experience in engineering, construction, CSA, MEP or similar project environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with project progress reporting and schedule analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, organisational, coordination and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules and periodic schedule updates.
• Establish activity sequences, durations, dependencies, key milestones and critical path activities.
• Review project schedules to ensure alignment with scope and contracts.
• Monitor actual progress against baseline and identify deviations or delays.
• Track critical path activities, milestones, deliverables and construction progress.
• Collect and verify progress updates from stakeholders.
• Analyse schedule performance and provide early warnings on potential delays.
• Maintain records of schedule updates and changes.
• Identify schedule risks, perform recovery planning and mitigation measures.
• Prepare recovery schedules and recommend corrective actions.
• Review subcontractor schedules and coordinate their activities with the overall plan.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead plans and trackers.
• Participate in planning meetings and provide schedule status updates.

Job Responsibilities

1. Project Planning and Scheduling

• Develop, maintain and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules and periodic schedule updates in accordance with project requirements.
• Establish activity sequences, durations, dependencies, key milestones and critical path activities.
• Review project schedules to ensure alignment with project scope, contractual requirements and execution plans.

2. Progress Monitoring and Schedule Control

• Monitor actual project progress against the approved baseline schedule and identify deviations or potential delays.
• Track critical path activities, key milestones, engineering deliverables, procurement activities and construction progress.
• Collect and verify progress updates from project managers, engineers, construction teams, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Analyse schedule performance and provide early warnings on activities that may affect project completion dates.
• Maintain accurate records of schedule updates, revisions, progress and changes.

3. Delay Analysis and Recovery Planning

• Identify schedule risks, slippages and potential bottlenecks that may impact project milestones.
• Conduct schedule impact assessments and support the evaluation of delays and changes to the project execution plan.
• Prepare recovery schedules and assist project teams in developing mitigation measures to minimise delays.
• Recommend corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness in bringing project activities back on track.

Coordination and Reporting

• Review subcontractor schedules and coordinate their activities to ensure alignment with the overall project schedule.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead plans, milestone trackers and schedule performance reports.
• Participate in project planning, coordination and progress meetings, providing updates on schedule status, risks and required actions.
• Work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams to ensure timely execution of project activities.
• Support project management in planning, resource coordination and other project controls activities.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls.
• Proficient in Primavera P6, with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining project schedules.
• Good understanding of project planning methodologies, critical path analysis, schedule performance monitoring and delay recovery planning.
