Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Senior Executive to lead the Finance modules implementation, including AR, AP, GL, Lease Accounting and Fixed Assets. You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage functional workstreams, and ensure successful go-live with VIP integration.

The role requires hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate SIT/UAT and data migration across multiple sites within the maritime sector.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• 4–10 years hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
• Strong knowledge of AR, AP, GL, Lease Accounting and Fixed Asset.
• Experience in maritime/shipping industry preferred.
• PMP/PRINCE2/Scrum Master is a plus.

Responsibilities

SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Senior Executive

Job Purpose
The DX Strategy & Application Solution Leader is responsible for driving the successful implementation, operational support, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA. This position requires a hands‑on functional lead with SAP S/4HANA implementation experience, particularly in the Finance domain and integration with Veson IMOS Platform (VIP). The role will work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to play a key role in solution delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

• SAP S/4HANA Implementation and Operational Support
  Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA for Finance modules (AR, AP, GL, Lease Accounting, and Fixed Assets), from design through go-live and post-go-live operational support. Ensure effective integration with the Veson IMOS Platform (VIP), particularly for voyage accounting, financial postings, and reconciliations.
• Business Process Management
  Analyze, document, and optimize end-to-end business processes related to accounting, commercial operations, and voyage accounting. Translate business requirements into SAP functional designs to support revenue recognition, cost allocation, and financial reporting.
• Business Requirements
  Engage Finance and Commercial stakeholders to gather, validate, and translate business requirements into functional specifications. Act as the key liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors.
• Project Management
  Support the Project Manager in delivery of the S/4HANA programme by managing functional workstreams, tracking deliverables, identifying risks, and ensuring timely completion of milestones.
• Solution, Delivery & Testing
  Design, configure, and test SAP solutions aligned to business needs. Lead SIT and UAT activities, ensuring solutions meet operational and financial requirements.
• Data Migration & Go-Live Readiness
  Support data migration activities, define validation rules, and ensure data accuracy across systems. Contribute to go-live planning, user training, and hyper‑care support to ensure smooth transition.
• Vendor Management
  Evaluate vendor deliverables against agreed service levels and drive resolution of open issues within contracted timelines.

The initial contract term is 2 years, with renewal subject to review.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education:
  Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or other relevant disciplines.
• Experience:
  Minimum 4 – 10 years of hands‑on experience in enterprise application implementation, business analysis, or IT project management, preferably within the maritime industry.
• Mandatory:
  Proven hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and post‑implementation support, with strong functional knowledge in AR, AP, GL, Lease Accounting and Fixed Asset.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes in chemical tanker operations, energy transportation, or dry bulk operations including voyage accounting, procurement‑to‑pay, and financial reporting workflows.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, gap analysis, process mapping, functional specification writing, and UAT coordination.
  • Proven experience in solution design and project management in complex, multi‑site environments. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across Finance, Commercial, and IT teams.
