Job summary

Medpace, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a full-time, office-based Sample Management Assistant to join our laboratory team. You will work with a collaborative group to manage specimens and ensure accurate tracking, receiving, unpacking, and scanning into our database.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field is required.
• At least 2 years of industry experience in a related position.
• Team-oriented and detail-oriented with good time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in sample management, logistics or laboratory is advantageous.
• Able to work on rotational Saturdays and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Specimen management tasks including tracking, receiving, unpacking, and scanning of diagnostic specimens into database.
• Maintain specimen storage inventory.
• Communicate sample discrepancies with internal teams and assist with problem sample resolution.
• Prepare and coordinate shipments between Medpace and other labs; tasks include preparing airway bills, pulling and packing of samples.
• Attend inter-department meetings and review study materials to extract information for shipment documents.
• Manage couriers and external providers.
• Maintain equipment temperature monitoring and respond to unit alarms; perform equipment maintenance monthly.
• Ad-hoc: investigate and write CAPA reports, process improvement, new project leading.
