Job summary

GovTech, Singapore's中心 for ICT and Smart Nation initiatives, is seeking an Enterprise Software Specialist (Salesforce) to design, extend, and scale Salesforce solutions for national-scale education workflows. You will collaborate with educators and engineers to deliver Education Cloud capabilities built on core Salesforce foundations, integrating with enterprise systems to operate reliably.

The role emphasizes secure, high‑quality deployments, agile delivery, and ongoing Salesforce expertise

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3–5 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience supporting production systems
• Strong experience with core Salesforce platforms (e.g. Service Cloud), Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and configuration
• Solid understanding of Salesforce data models, security, and APIs
• Experience working in Agile software development environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Salesforce Platform Developer certification

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy Salesforce solutions, including Salesforce Education Cloud, using core platform capabilities
• Extend Salesforce through Apex, triggers, flows, workflows, approval processes, and custom UI components
• Build and support integrations between Salesforce and other government or third‑party systems using Salesforce APIs and integration tools
• Work with product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well‑designed, production‑ready Salesforce solutions
• Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to stable, secure, high‑availability releases
• Apply Salesforce best practices for security, performance, and maintainability, and continuously improve platform quality and engineering practices
