Job summary

STA Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a capable Sales Executive to support the Sales Manager in planning and implementing sales strategies to reach targets.

You will identify new business opportunities, build relationships and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery. The role requires at least a diploma or bachelor’s degree and 2 years of sales experience, with strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in sales, preferably with supervisory exposure.
• Experience in sales coordination, CRM and business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Able to prepare quotations and sales reports accurately.
• Self-motivated, responsible and target-oriented.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent English; additional languages a plus.
• Willing to travel to meet customers when required.
• Experience in construction/engineering/building materials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager in planning, developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop potential customers and business relationships.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and follow up on customer enquiries.
• Prepare and review quotations, sales proposals, invoices and other sales-related documents.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery of products or services.
• Monitor sales activities, customer orders and outstanding payments.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with customers when required.
• Assist in monitoring sales performance and preparing regular sales reports for management.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve sales or service-related issues.
• Support the Sales Manager in managing the sales team and coordinating daily sales activities.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitors, market trends and customer requirements.
• Ensure sales activities and documentation comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other sales and business development duties as assigned by management.
