Job summary

MRS ENGINEERING (SG) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a capable Sales Coordinator to assist the Sales Manager in planning and implementing sales strategies to meet targets. You will develop new business, strengthen relationships, and coordinate orders for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably with supervisory or senior sales exposure.
• Experience in sales coordination, customer relationship management and business development.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Able to build and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Good organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Able to prepare quotations, sales reports and other business documents accurately.
• Self-motivated, responsible and target-oriented.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Willing to travel or meet customers when required.
• Candidates with experience in construction, engineering, building materials or related industries will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager in planning, developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop potential customers and relationships.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers and follow up on enquiries.
• Prepare and review quotations, sales proposals, invoices and other sales-related documents.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
• Monitor sales activities, customer orders and outstanding payments.
• Follow up on quotations and negotiate pricing and terms as needed.
• Assist in monitoring sales performance and preparing regular sales reports for management.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve sales or service-related issues.
• Support the Sales Manager in managing the sales team and coordinating daily activities.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitors, trends and customer requirements.
• Ensure sales activities and documentation comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other sales and business development duties as assigned.
