Job summary

Barkath Group's, Barkath Stores Singapore is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our sales team in Singapore. You will focus on serving clients’ needs, drive new accounts, and build strong relationships with dealers and customers.

The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent service, capable of generating a robust sales funnel, and able to work with MS Excel to tailor presentations and reports. Great career development in FMCG awaits.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcomed.
• Degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration.
• 3+ years of sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves customers by identifying and meeting customer needs.
• Services existing accounts and establishes/generates new accounts.
• Builds healthy relationships with current and potential customers, understands their needs and concerns, and generates sales funnel.
• Adjusts sales presentations using MS Excel when required by studying the type of sales outlet and needs of the potential customer.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
• Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports (daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly/annual territory analyses).
• Monitors competition by gathering current market information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
• Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments.
• Highlights customer complaints/feedbacks to Sales Team to investigate problems, develop solutions, and recommend actions.
