Job summary

Fifty One Media Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to drive business development and client success.

You will lead client acquisition, tailor proposals, and collaborate with marketing to deliver impactful campaigns for both Japanese and non-Japanese clients. The role requires a diploma or degree in business or marketing, at least two years in sales or account management, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of sales or account management experience, preferably in media, advertising, or marketing.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Japanese is a strong advantage (to liaise with Japanese clients).
• Passionate about media, marketing, and client relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage client acquisition efforts through effective sales pitching (both online and in-person)
• Identify, evaluate, and understand clients' needs to deliver tailored proposals and marketing solutions
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
• Build and maintain strong, long-term business relationships with Japanese and non-Japanese clients
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to conceptualize and deliver impactful marketing campaigns
• Conduct market research to identify emerging business opportunities and potential partnerships
• Ensure client satisfaction through excellent service and proactive follow-up to drive contract renewals
