Job summary

Lam Soon Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a results-driven Merchandiser to support our FMCG brands across assigned outlets in Singapore. You will ensure timely replenishment, optimal shelf visibility and adherence to FIFO principles, while maintaining accurate pricing and POS material displays.

The role requires at least 2 years in sales and merchandising within FMCG, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel between outlets to drive sales performance and build client

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales and merchandising experience in FMCG.
• Good understanding of merchandising, stock rotation and FIFO principles.
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Sales and commercial awareness with ability to identify opportunities in-store.
• Good negotiation skills.
• Team player who can work with sales and internal teams.
• Organised, responsible and attentive to detail.
• Willing to travel between assigned outlets.

Responsibilities

• Check expiry dates and ensure products are stocked at assigned outlets.
• Maintain displays and follow FIFO principles.
• Ensure POSM and price cards are displayed correctly.
• Replenish shelves and maintain product visibility to support sales.
• Monitor pricing, inventory levels and sales performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and outlet staff.
• Provide feedback on sales performance, displays, and competitor activity.
• Identify opportunities for additional secondary display space.
• Negotiate campaign arrangements including display space and charges.
• Support Food Service outlets when required.
• Collaborate with sales and other departments to support merchandising.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer/HOD.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check product expiry dates and ensure products are adequately stocked at assigned outlets.
• Maintain proper product displays and ensure FIFO principles are followed.
• Ensure Point of Sale Materials (POSM) and price cards are correctly displayed.
• Replenish shelves and maintain good product visibility to support sales performance.
• Monitor pricing, inventory levels and overall sales performance.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with customers and outlet personnel.
• Provide regular feedback on sales performance, store displays and competitor activities.
• Identify opportunities to secure additional secondary display space.
• Negotiate campaign arrangements, including display space and promotional charges.
• Provide support to Food Service outlets when required.
• Work closely with the sales team and other departments to support sales and merchandising activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer / HOD.
