Job summary

LOTTE Confectionery (S.E.A) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a proactive Merchandiser to manage in-store product placement and stock availability across a cluster of outlets, ensuring premium visibility.

You will build strong outlet relationships, implement POSM, coordinate promotions and events, travel daily between stores, and maintain accurate delivery, receipt, and inventory records to support sales growth.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years FMCG or retail merchandising experience.
• Motivated, responsible, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and store standards.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and secure optimal product placement within outlets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned outlets.
• Replenish stocks to ensure visibility and availability.
• Implement POSM placements at strategic in-store locations.
• Attend bi-monthly sales meetings and travel daily across stores.
• Process deliveries, receipts, and maintain accurate records.
• Identify damaged or expired products and manage returns.

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with assigned outlets to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Replenish stocks to maintain product visibility and availability in stores.
• Retrieve dairy products from the chiller room for timely display.
• Ensure all products, information, and promotional materials are presented according to company guidelines.

Outlet & Relationship Management

• Negotiate and secure rental contracts with outlets to obtain optimal space for product placement.

Stock Management & Merchandising

• Replenish stocks to maintain product visibility and availability in stores.
• Retrieve dairy products from the chiller room for timely display.
• Ensure all products, information, and promotional materials are presented according to company guidelines.

Visual Merchandising & Brand Promotion

• Implement and optimize placement of Point-of-Sales Materials (POSM) at strategic in-store locations to maximize brand visibility.
• Actively promote products during events, roadshows, and in-store activations to engage customers and drive sales. (where relevant).

Sales Operations & Administrative Support

• Attend bi-monthly sales meetings at the office.
• Travel daily between multiple stores within a designated geographical cluster.
• Prepare, process, and maintain documentation including goods issue summaries, return forms, and order forms.
• Acknowledge and verify delivery and receipt of goods with outlets, obtaining required signatures and maintaining organized records.
• Ensure accurate record keeping for inventory management, returns, and regulatory compliance.
• Support ad hoc sales activities and perform other tasks as assigned by the sales department.

Product Disposal & Returns

• Identify, report, and dispose of damaged or expired products in line with company procedures.
• Collect and process product returns from outlets as required.
• Liaise with outlets and office staff regarding disposal instructions and documentation.
• Bring returned products back to the office during designated visits.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in FMCG or retail merchandising (Supermarkets,
• preferred)
