Job summary

LAM SOON SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a merchandising professional to support store operations across assigned outlets in Singapore.

You will ensure product expiry checks, stock management, and proper FIFO-based displays, while maintaining POS displays and aiding campaign activities to improve product visibility and sales.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school qualification or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in merchandising, retail or FMCG preferred.
• Able to work independently and manage assigned outlets effectively.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to perform physical merchandising duties, including moving, arranging and replenishing products at retail outlets.
• Comfortable travelling between assigned retail outlets.
• Basic knowledge of merchandising and FIFO principles would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising: check expiry dates, keep stock well-stocked, ensure POSM and price cards are displayed correctly.
• Sales & Store Operations: monitor pricing, inventory, execute sales plans, build relationships with customers, provide feedback on performance and displays.
• Support campaign activities, including display space arrangements and promotions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Head of Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Merchandising
  • Check product expiry dates and ensure products are well-stocked at assigned outlets.
  • Maintain proper product displays and stock rotation based on FIFO principles.
  • Ensure Point of Sale Materials (POSM) and price cards are displayed correctly.
• Sales & Store Operations
  • Monitor product pricing and inventory levels in line with sales performance.
  • Execute sales plans and maintain good relationships with customers to support sales and brand visibility.
  • Provide regular feedback on sales performance, store displays and competitor activities.
  • Identify opportunities to secure additional secondary displays and improve product visibility.
  • Support campaign activities, including arrangements for display space and promotional activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Head of Department.
