Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Sales and Marketing professional to drive the sales of plastic resin products. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma/Degree in Polymer Technology or Chemical Engineering, with 2 to 5 years of experience in the Specialty Chemical/PVC industry. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, managing customer credit, and identifying new market opportunities. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and an ability to work across cultures and regions, along with a commitment to results.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience from the Specialty Chemical/PVC industry.
  • Prior working experience in sales or import & export business (forwarding & trading activities).
  • Result oriented, self‑motivated and committed.

Overview

Responsible for driving sales and marketing of plastic resin (PP) products across regional and global markets through effective customer management, credit control, and collaboration with suppliers and overseas offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand sales with regional suppliers, distributors, and customers.
  • Set up and manage customer credit lines; review and analyze financial status for credit control.
  • Coordinate with overseas offices and head office on potential customers and sales opportunities.
  • Manage regular pricing updates, sales reports, and performance reviews with suppliers/distributors.
  • Identify and engage new customers to grow market share and business opportunities.
  • Conduct customer visits, handle inquiries, and resolve complaints or outstanding invoices.
  • Support sales presentations, product promotions, and key account management activities.
  • Collaborate with liaison offices to deliver strong regional customer support and service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regional regulations.
  • Provide local market intelligence and contribute to sales strategies and targets.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Polymer Technology/Chemical Engineering
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience from the Specialty Chemical/PVC industry
  • Strong communications skills (effective presentations at all levels, negotiation, problem solving)
  • Analytical, proactive, and customer-oriented mindset
  • A good team player able to work across regions and cultures

Salary and Location

Salary range : S$4,200.00 – S$6,000.00
