Our member company is seeking a meticulous and motivated Sales Manager (Ward Consumables) to join the team In this role, you will play a critical part in driving sales and business development for the Ward and Surgical Consumables portfolio by expanding market opportunities, strengthening healthcare customer relationships and achieving sustainable sales growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Drive sales and business development for the Ward and Surgical Consumables portfolio, identifying opportunities to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.
• Manage and develop the product portfolio, including surgical dressings, hospital bandages, dressing and procedure packs, rehabilitation supplies, surgical apparel, wound care, respiratory care and protective care products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, healthcare institutions, healthcare professionals, distributors and other relevant customers.
• Identify new business opportunities, develop prospective accounts and strengthen existing customer partnerships to drive sustainable sales growth.
• Work closely with customers to understand their product requirements, provide suitable solutions and support the adoption of relevant products within their respective healthcare settings.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and recommend appropriate sales and product strategies.
• Coordinate product presentations, demonstrations, training sessions and product launches to increase product awareness and support sales development.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and principals to support product availability, customer enquiries, quotations and other sales-related activities.
• Support the training and development of the Singapore sales team, providing product knowledge and sales guidance to strengthen their effectiveness in the market.
• Track sales performance, pipeline activities and market developments, providing regular updates and recommendations to management.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Medical Science, Business or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in medical supplies, hospital consumables, medical devices, healthcare sales or product management.
• Experience selling to hospitals, healthcare institutions or other healthcare customers will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with surgical consumables, wound care, dressings, rehabilitation products, respiratory care or infection prevention and protective products is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships, identify business opportunities and drive sales growth.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good commercial awareness, with the ability to analyse market I6rends and translate customer needs into actionable sales opportunities.
• A proactive and results-oriented team player who can work independently and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
