Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Singapore seeks a Sales Manager to drive sales performance, coach teams, and manage key customer and stakeholder relationships.

You will develop and execute the territory sales plan, collaborate with APAC marketing, oversee inventory planning and demand forecasting, and coordinate field activities and events. Travel to support marketing and customer initiatives is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree as stated or equivalent.
  • 5 years of healthcare-related sales experience.
  • Some people management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the sales plan to hit targets.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives for the territory with APAC team.
  • Build reference sites to support physician training and education.
  • Coordinate field activities, logistics, and events, including trade shows and launches.
  • Travel as required to support activities and initiatives.

The Opportunity

As the Sales Manager, Singapore, you will drive sales performance of the business and provide coaching, customer and stakeholder management, performance management and resource planning.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and be accountable for the development and execution of the sales plan to achieve business objectives and growth targets.
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives for the assigned territory in collaboration with the Regional Business Manager and Asia Pacific Marketing team to drive business growth and expand market presence.
  • Establish and develop key reference sites to support physician training and customer education, in partnership with the Asia Pacific Marketing and Education teams.
  • Manage and coordinate operational activities, including field support coverage, logistics, venue arrangements, trade shows, product launches, and customer engagement events. If needed, also need to support the field activities.
  • Travel is required to support and participate in marketing activities, customer events, and business initiatives as directed by the Superior.
  • Manage Singapore inventory planning, stock replenishment, and demand forecasting to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end sales closing activities, maintaining the integrity of the sales cycle and enabling the achievement of monthly sales targets.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular updates on forecasts, business opportunities, and market developments to support strategic decision-making.
  • Handle and process customer complaints in timely manner and according to Abbott policy and requirement.
  • Execute the job responsibilities according to applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott Medical.
  • Ensure applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott Medical are executed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Biomedical Science or Business Management or equivalent.
  • 5 years’ experience in healthcare related sales.
  • Some experience in people management preferred.
