Job summary

welstand international pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced Sales & Business Development professional to expand our commercial cleaning services. You will lead strategies to win new contracts, target offices, malls, and industrial properties, and build lasting client relationships.

The role requires proven sales success, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with operations to deliver on promises. Weekend work may be required in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working experience.
• Minimum Degree is required.
• Experience in cleaning services or facilities management is advantageous.
• Proven track record in securing service contracts and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to generate new business leads and build relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to promote the company's cleaning services and achieve revenue targets.
• Identify potential business opportunities in commercial buildings, offices, shopping malls, industrial premises, residential properties, and other facilities.
• Establish annual sales targets, business development plans, and customer acquisition strategies
• Identify, approach, and secure new customers requiring commercial cleaning, office cleaning, industrial cleaning, housekeeping, and other cleaning services offered by the company
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients, upcoming projects, and tender opportunities.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, service packages, and tender submissions for prospective customers.
• Develop business relationships with property managers, facility management companies, building owners, managing agents, and corporate clients
• Work closely with cleaning operations managers and site supervisors to ensure that proposed contracts can be delivered according to client requirements.
• Coordinate site visits and assessments to determine cleaning scope, manpower deployment, equipment requirements, and estimated operating costs.
• Monitor the progress of newly secured contracts during service commencement and ensure a smooth handover to the operations team.

• Proven track record in securing service contracts, developing new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to identify prospective customers and generate new business leads.
• Experience in preparing quotations, sales proposals, tenders, and commercial contracts.
• Strong negotiation skills to discuss pricing, service scope, payment terms, and contract conditions with clients.
• Ability to develop sales strategies and implement plans to increase revenue and market share
• Required to assist in periodic cleaning works such as pressure jetting and scrubbing.
• Good industry knowledge on commercial cleaning and disinfection
• Knowledge of various cleaning products, equipment, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Have the ability to work under pressure. Demonstrate the aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
• Good communication & organizational skills
• Class 2/2A/3 driving license required. Vehicle cannot drive back home
• Able to work longer hours. Must work on weekends/PH. Strictly off on weekdays
