Job summary

Cogent Holdings Pte. Ltd. is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager (Hunter) to lead business development and generate new revenue streams in our logistics and freight forwarding divisions.

You will build and manage a sales pipeline, engage potential customers, and close deals across multiple industries including food, e-commerce, project cargo, automotive, and chemical. As a hunter, you will work closely with the team to ensure profitability, deliver compelling proposals, and maintain strong

Qualifications

• 5 years’ sales experience with proven BD in logistics and freight forwarding.
• Strong customer base and network among logistics customers.
• Able to secure customers in food, e-commerce, project cargo, automotive, chemical, oil & gas, and furniture.
• Self-motivated with drive to meet sales targets; good communication and negotiation skills.
• Preferably has own car.

Responsibilities

• Lead a sales team to achieve group revenue targets.
• Identify and secure new business prospects for freight and 3PL services.
• Provide quotations and sales agreements; follow up till close.
• Resolve payment issues and disputes with customers.
• Build long-lasting relationships with current and potential customers.
• Coordinate to ensure profitability; prepare proposals, presentations, and reports.
• Participate in tenders; maintain sales databases.
• Attend tender processes and bid management.

Sales Manager (Hunter) role focuses on business development and generating new revenue streams for the company

Responsibilities

• Lead a sales team to achieve group revenue target
• Identify and secure new business prospects for our freight and third-party logistics services within the Group
• Provide quotation/sales agreement to prospective customer and follow-up till the deals are closed
• Attend and resolve any payment issues, feedback or disputes raised by customers
• Create positive and long-lasting relationships with current and potential customers
• Maintain close coordination with superior to ensure profitability of sales leads is better performed than budgeted figure
• Prepare sales proposals, presentations and reporting
• Participate in global and local tenders
• Maintain sales-related database

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma holder in Logistics / Business or related field
• Hunter role with own motivation to achieve sales target
• 5 years’ sales experience with a track record in sales and business development in the logistics & freight forwarding industry
• Strong customer based and good working network among customers
• Existing business pipelines and connections will be an advantage
• Able to secure customers from these industries: food, E-commence, project cargo, automotive, chemical, oil & gas and furniture
• Self-motivated and possess drive to meet sales target
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Preferably possess own car
