Job summary

JAN Group in Singapore seeks a Sales Manager to open doors and close deals for interior decoration and renovation projects. You will lead outbound prospecting, manage key accounts, and collaborate with project teams to ensure delivery and client satisfaction.

The role requires a proven sales record, experience in interior fit-out or related services, and strong negotiation and communication skills. You will represent JAN Group at trade shows and drive showroom traffic.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or business development track record with numbers.
• Experience in interior fit-out, renovation, construction or building services is a strong advantage.
• Confident cold caller and negotiator with ability to open doors.
• Able to read drawings and discuss technical aspects with clients.
• Familiar with CRM, forecasting and sales reporting.

Responsibilities

• Hit and exceed assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
• Hunt new business from developers, contractors, designers, owners and facilities managers.
• Cold outreach, site visits and pitching to key decision-makers.
• Convert enquiries into signed contracts and nurture long-term accounts.
• Build and manage the sales pipeline: quotations, follow-ups, negotiation, closing.
• Develop strategies to grow showroom traffic and project volume.
• Manage key accounts and grow wallet share.
• Coach junior sales staff as the team grows.
• Coordinate with project, production and finance to ensure delivery.
• Report pipeline, forecast and performance to management.
• Represent JAN Group at trade shows and industry events.

Job description

JAN Group is a Singapore interior decoration, renovation and maintenance contractor with our own showroom and in-house carpentry factory. We deliver residential, commercial and specialised projects including design-and-build substation enclosures. We are looking for a Sales Manager who can open doors and close deals.

What you'll own

• Hit and exceed assigned monthly and annual sales targets - this is the core of the role
• Hunt new business: developers, main contractors, interior designers, property owners, facility managers and corporate clients
• Cold outreach, site visits and pitching to key decision-makers
• Convert enquiries into signed contracts, and repeat clients into long-term accounts
• Build the sales pipeline and keep it moving - quotations, follow-ups, negotiation, closing
• Develop sales and marketing strategies that grow our showroom traffic and project volume
• Manage key accounts and grow wallet share
• Coach and support junior sales staff as the team expands
• Work with our project, production and finance teams so what you sell gets delivered properly
• Report pipeline, forecast and performance to management
• Represent JAN Group at trade shows, industry events and networking sessions

What we’re looking for

• Confident cold caller and negotiator - comfortable knocking on new doors
• Able to read a set of drawings and hold a technical conversation with a client
• Familiar with CRM, forecasting and sales reporting
• Self-driven, target-hungry, and able to work independently
