Job summary

SUGI JEWELLERY in Singapore is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations, maintain store standards, and coordinate workflow across the sales floor and back areas. You will recruit and train staff, develop product knowledge in skincare and jewelry, plan staffing schedules, monitor sales targets, and oversee visual merchandising, promotions, stock control, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Daily Workflow: Manage opening and closing procedures, maintain store cleanliness, and handle workflow.
• Facility Maintenance: Keep the store and storage areas tidy, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Vendor & Supply Relations: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source products, manage deliveries, and handle orders.
• Recruitment & Training: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees.
• Product Knowledge: Train the team on ingredient safety, skincare/makeup benefits, and sales techniques.
• Scheduling & Supervision: Build and maintain staff schedules, supervise daily floor activity, and monitor individual performance against store goals
• Sales Targets: Monitor store-wide sales goals, track profits and expenses, and prepare performance reports.
• Visual Merchandising: Plan store layouts, design promotional displays, and keep shelves and product testers organized and sanitized
• Promotions & Events: Coordinate special in-store promotions, product launches, or visits from beauty experts
• Inventory: Track inventory levels, handle stock-taking, and reduce losses from shrinkage, damage, or overstocking.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain basic records of cash flow, payroll, and operational expenditures.
• Customer Greeting & Consultations: Greet shoppers, conduct high-level consultations when needed, and resolve customer complaints or escalations.
• Policy & Safety Enforcement: Enforce company policies, security routines, and local retail safety regulations.
