Job summary

IFME Works Pte Ltd is seeking a results-driven sales/BD professional in Singapore to drive opportunities in construction and engineering. You will manage client relations, coordinate with the engineering team, and oversee proposals and tender submissions from enquiry to project award.

The role requires strong English communication, a track record in M&E/construction sales, and the ability to work independently and with internal teams. On-site engagement with clients and sites is common.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in M&E/construction sales or BD.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems and tender processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to work independently and with teams.
• Proficient in MS Office and reporting.

Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for construction and engineering projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
• Understand client requirements and coordinate with the engineering team to provide suitable solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry, quotation, negotiation to project award.
• Monitor project opportunities in the market and actively pursue potential leads.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and project discussions when required.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure smooth project handover after contract award.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and updates for management review.
• Maintain good customer service and support clients throughout the project process.
• Perform other sales and business development duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in the M&E / construction industry, preferably in sales or business development.
• Good understanding of M&E systems, construction projects and tender processes will be an advantage.
• Strong network with contractors, consultants, developers or data centre operators is preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented and driven to achieve sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal teams.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects or client enquiries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic reporting tools.
• Required language: English.
