Job summary

BYD (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive team member to assist in managing distributors of BYD commercial vehicles, support in sales administration, and ensure smooth billing and credit control processes.

The role involves liaising with distributors, customers, and local authorities to maintain strong relations. You will help coordinate sales targets, vehicle delivery, and market activation, while supporting event launches and exhibitions related to EV products.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline.
• Some experience in Project Management, although training will be provided.
• Good communication skills.
• Good command in Mandarin and English to liaise with China HQ colleague.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing distributors of BYD commercial vehicles, including sales targets, delivery of vehicles, marketing and homologation.
• Assist in appointment of distributors/dealers.
• Maintain good relationship & rapport with customers and local authorities.
• Assist in Sales Admin and business administration, billing and credit control.
• Prepare sales invoices and issue payment vouchers; administer overdue payments and recover debts.
• Assist in launch events for commercial vehicles, bi-annual LTA Congress & Exhibition and various EV related exhibition and trade fairs.
• Any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Assist in managing distributors of BYD commercial vehicles, which includes managing sales target, delivery of vehicles, marketing and homologation of vehicles.
2. Assist in the appointment of distributors/dealers.
3. Maintain good relationship & rapport with customers and local authorities.
4. To assist in Sales Admin.
5. Assist in business administration, billing and credit control Billing and Credit Control:

• Preparing sales invoices for billing to distributor(s) and customers.
• Issue payment vouchers from vendors to Finance Team.
• Administer overdue and outstanding payment term.
• Identify and recover outstanding debts of the assigned accounts.
• Pro-actively monitor receivables of the assigned accounts and explore probable solutions on difficult cases.
• Follow-up and responding promptly to payment-related enquiries and feedback.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies of the assigned accounts.
• Facilitate Finance Team with receivable data updates of the assigned accounts for month-end closing.

6. Assist in launch events for commercial vehicles, bi-annual LTA Congress & Exhibition and various EV related exhibition and trade fair.
