Job summary

AP Sensing GmbH, a leader in distributed fiber optic sensing, seeks a seasoned sales professional to drive adoption of its solutions across the APAC region. You will sell to power utilities and EPCs, develop a robust pipeline, and coordinate with regional managers.

The role requires 5+ years in B2B sales of complex technical solutions in the electric power sector, strong communication, and the ability to work remotely from a home office with 40-50% travel across APAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, IT or business.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales/business development in B2B.
• Extensive technical expertise in electric power transmission and distribution.
• Integrity and professionalism for long business engagements.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, small team.
• Excellent communication, multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell AP Sensing solutions to verticals with focus on the power transmission and distribution industry.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline across the APAC region.
• Follow up on proposals, provide bid qualifications, technical clarifications, and required documentation.
• Present our solutions in client meetings and clarify technical and commercial requirements.
• Ensure CRM data is updated and maintained.
• Promote our company’s brand and solutions to key stakeholders and keep them informed about new products and offerings.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager and Business Development Managers for guidance.
