Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a sales-focused engineer to develop new business opportunities and grow key accounts across the region.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, has 1–2 years in sales or technical customer-facing roles, and can present solutions, prepare proposals, and drive targets. Working hours are 9am–6pm, Monday to Friday, at the North location. Knowledge of automation, motors, or industrial equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics, Electronics or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of sales, application engineering or technical customer-facing experience preferred.
• Training provided for those with lesser experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities by identifying and approaching potential customers.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular engagement and follow-up.
• Understand customers' technical requirements, applications and challenges, and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
• Conduct product presentations, technical discussions and customer meetings.
• Work closely with internal Application Engineers, Business Development and Regional Sales teams to develop sales opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and technical information based on customer requirements.
• Follow up on leads, enquiries and quotations to convert opportunities into sales.
• Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in the CRM system.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements and competitor activities.
• Attend customer visits, exhibitions and industry events when required.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Job Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant sales, application engineering or technical customer-facing experience is preferred.
• Experience in automation, motion control, semiconductor equipment, precision engineering, robotics or industrial equipment will be advantageous.
• Training will be provided for those lesser/without experience.
