Job summary

NETPOLEON SOLUTIONS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a proactive Pre-Sales and Technical Support specialist to advise partners and end-users, deliver product presentations, demos, and complex POCs.

You will lead the creation of technical documentation, set up hands-on POCs, and partner with Channel Account Managers to accelerate deals.

The role requires 2+ years in network infrastructure and cybersecurity, with strong networking and security knowledge, plus vendor certifications.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on technical experience in network infrastructure and cybersecurity environments.
• Core knowledge: Networking fundamentals (routing/switching, TCP/IP) and security concepts (NGFW, EDR/XDR, NDR, IAM, SASE, or Threats Analysis/Investigation).
• Key Competencies: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with customer/partner-facing confidence; ability to work independently and in a team; growth mindset to learn emerging security tech.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical advisor to partners and end-users with product demos and POCs.
• Lead preparation of technical docs including SOWs and solution architectures tailored to client requirements.
• Set up and run hands-on POCs to prove solution value and meet technical requirements.
• Design and deliver technical training sessions, product updates, and enablement workshops for partner engineers and end-users.
• Collaborate with Channel Account Managers and Product Managers to qualify leads and clear technical roadblocks to accelerate deal closures.
• Maintain proficiency and achieve required vendor certifications across assigned vendor product lines through self-directed or vendor-led training.
• Maintain accurate and timely reporting on POC status, partner interactions, and pre-sales pipeline updates.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Commercial Collaboration:Partner closely with Channel Account Managers and Product Managers to qualify leads, clear technical roadblocks, and accelerate deal closures.
• Continuous Learning & Certification:Maintain working proficiency and achieve required technical certifications across assigned vendor product lines through self-directed and vendor-led training.
• Reporting & Tracking:Maintain accurate and timely reporting on POC status, partner interactions, and pre-sales pipeline updates.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing vendor certifications (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, CrowdStrike, Cisco) or industry certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+).

Other Information:

Working hours: 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday

Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experiences
