Job summary
Smart Living Gallery is seeking a motivated Sales Consultant to join our retail team in Singapore. You will assist homeowners and interior designers in selecting smart home, lighting, and automation solutions tailored to their needs and lifestyle.
Experience with lighting planning or design is a plus. This role offers product training, sales incentives, and opportunities to work on residential projects as the company grows.

Smart Living Gallery (SLG) is looking for a motivated Sales Consultant to join our growing retail team.
You will assist homeowners, interior designers and other customers in selecting suitable smart home, smart lighting and home automation solutions based on their needs and lifestyle.
Candidates with experience or knowledge in lighting planning, lighting layout or lighting design will have an added advantage.
- Attend to walk-in customers and sales enquiries
- Understand customers' requirements and recommend suitable smart home solutions
- Recommend smart lighting, switches, sensors, curtains, door locks, cameras and other connected-home products
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers
- Provide product demonstrations in the showroom
- Coordinate with the operations and installation teams for customer projects
- Maintain good customer relationships and provide after-sales follow-up
- Work towards individual and showroom sales targets
- Support showroom operations and promotional events
Candidates with the following experience will be highly preferred:
- Able to read basic floor plans
- Understand lighting placement and different types of lighting
- Able to propose basic lighting layouts for residential projectsli>
- Knowledge of downlights, spotlights, track lights, LED strips and ambient lighting
- Experience working with homeowners, interior designers, contractors or renovation projects
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Sales-oriented and willing to learn
- Interest in smart home technology, lighting and interior solutions
- Comfortable demonstrating technology and products to customers
- Responsible in following up with assigned customers
- Retail, smart home, lighting, electrical or interior design experience is an advantage
- Training will be provided for suitable candidates
