Job summary

Mola Subsea Services in Singapore is seeking a dynamic Sales/Commercial Executive with proven experience in ship husbandry services to join our team. You will develop new business and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, managers, and vessel operators to secure regular service contracts.

We offer a basic salary with attractive commissions; travel to client sites is expected as part of business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales/business development in shipping, marine, ship husbandry, offshore or related industries.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships across the maritime sector.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the shipping and maritime industry.
• Establish and maintain relationships with ship owners, ship managers, technical managers, ship agents and vessel operators.
• Promote the Company's ship husbandry and marine services, including: underwater hull inspection, hull cleaning, propeller polishing, underwater inspection and repairs, subsea and marine services.
• Follow up on vessel schedules, enquiries, quotations and service opportunities.
• Prepare and submit quotations and negotiate commercial terms within Company guidelines.
• Monitor upcoming vessel arrivals and identify potential service requirements.
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain effective communication with clients.
• Follow up on quotations and convert enquiries into confirmed jobs.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, prospects, enquiries, quotations and sales activities.
• Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth execution of confirmed jobs and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Monitor competitors, market conditions and pricing trends and provide feedback to Management.
• Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Support collection of outstanding customer payments when required.
• Perform other sales and business development duties assigned by Management.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales / Commercial Executive with proven experience in ship husbandry services to join our team in Singapore.

Job Purpose

To develop new business and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, ship managers, ship agents and other maritime clients, with the objective of increasing sales and securing regular vessel service contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the shipping and maritime industry.
• Establish and maintain relationships with ship owners, ship managers, technical managers, ship agents and vessel operators.

• Promote the Company's ship husbandry and marine services, including:

  Underwater hull inspection

  Hull cleaning

  Propeller polishing

  Underwater inspection and repairs

  Subsea and marine services

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of sales/business development experience, preferably in shipping, marine, ship husbandry, offshore or related industries.
• Existing contacts within the shipping and maritime industry will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Able to work independently and actively pursue new business.
• Results-oriented with strong follow-up and closing skills.
• Willing to travel for customer visits and business development.
• Knowledge of Singapore port and shipping operations is an advantage.

Remuneration:

Basic salary + attractive sales commission/incentive, subject to Company policy.
