Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd is seeking a Sales Application Engineer in Singapore. The role covers sales and technical support, engineering solutions, product training, supplier development, and project management.

Work on steam-trap related projects and coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Diploma in Engineering and at least 3 years in steam-related products, boiler and fluid control experience are required.

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering.
• Min 3 years in relevant experience in steam traps and other steam related products like boiler, fluid control systems, etc and experience in thermal audit.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Technical Support: work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide pre- and post-sales technical support.
• Engineering Solutions & Technical Support: develop and recommend practical engineering solutions and work with customers' teams to implement.
• Product Presentation & Training: conduct product demonstrations and provide technical and product training to stakeholders.
• Product & Supplier Development: monitor industry trends, source and evaluate suppliers, and liaise between customers and suppliers.
• Project Management: manage engineering projects from concept to completion and ensure on-time delivery within budget.

Position title :Sales Application Engineer

Working Days:5 days (Mon-Fri)
Working hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary :$4500 - $6500 (Transport allowance + Mobile Reimbursement)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Sales & Customer Technical Support

• Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide pre- and post-sales technical support.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and recommend suitable engineering solutions.

• Manage customer expectations and address technical or engineering concerns throughout the sales process.

2. Engineering Solutions & Technical Support

• Develop and recommend practical engineering solutions to address customers' technical and operational challenges.

• Work closely with customers' engineering/maintenance teams and the Technical Service Unit to implement solutions.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and propose alternative solutions where required.

• Maintain service quality in accordance with company standards.

3. Product Presentation & Training

• Conduct product demonstrations and technical sales presentations for customers and prospects.

• Provide technical and product training to internal and external stakeholders.

• Support the development of product and marketing materials when required.

4. Product & Supplier Development

• Monitor industry trends, market activities and competitor developments to identify opportunities for product improvements or new products.

• Source and evaluate reliable local and overseas suppliers.

• Communicate and negotiate with principals and suppliers to obtain cost-effective solutions.

• Liaise between customers and suppliers to clarify technical requirements and specifications.

5. Project Management

• Manage engineering projects from initial concept through to completion.

• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Provide technical support and alternative solutions when issues arise during project execution.

• Ensure all project information and documentation are properly maintained in the company database.

REQUIREMENT
