in Singapore is looking for a Safety Lead to ensure workplace safety standards across project sites and compliance with Singapore WSH and environmental requirements. You will maintain the safety framework, conduct site surveillance, lead hazard/risk assessments, investigations and audits, and drive continuous safety improvements across projects in collaboration with management, contractors, clients and authorities.

Responsibilities

• Drive workplace safety standards across project sites, ensuring operations meet Singapore WSH and environmental requirements.
• Maintain safety framework including procedures, records and reporting systems with site-level controls.
• Conduct regular site surveillance to identify unsafe conditions and gaps in work practices with timely corrective actions.
• Lead risk management activities: hazard identification, risk assessments, controls and periodic reviews for ongoing works.
• Manage safety engagement programmes: inductions, toolbox talks, training and competency programs.
• Coordinate incident response: investigate accidents/near misses and implement root-cause actions.
• Support audits and inspections, prepare documentation and track corrective actions.
• Collaborate with site management, contractors, consultants, clients and agencies on WSH matters.
• Monitor safety performance and drive continuous improvement through reporting and actions.

Job description

Drive workplace safety standards across project sites, ensuring operations meet applicable Singapore WSH and environmental requirements.

Maintain the organisation's safety framework, including procedures, records, reporting systems and site-level compliance controls.

Conduct regular site surveillance, identifying unsafe conditions, behavioural risks and gaps in work practices, with timely corrective actions.

Lead risk management activities, including hazard identification, risk assessments, control measures and periodic reviews for ongoing works.

Manage safety engagement programmes, covering inductions, toolbox sessions, briefings, awareness campaigns and mandatory competency training.

Coordinate incident response, including investigation of accidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences, followed by root-cause review and preventive actions.

Support audits and inspections, prepare compliance documentation, track findings and ensure outstanding safety issues are properly closed.

Work closely with project stakeholders, including site management, contractors, consultants, clients and relevant government agencies on WSH matters.

Monitor safety performance across projects, reviewing trends, inspection findings and key indicators to identify areas requiring improvement.

Support continuous safety improvement, including emergency preparedness, safety committee activities, management reporting and implementation of company-wide initiatives.
