Job summary

LANDMARK E&C PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Safety Officer to assist in implementing and maintaining WSH policies, conduct inspections and ensure compliance across sites.

You will coordinate safety trainings, prepare risk assessments and liaise with supervisors, workers and authorities to foster a strong safety culture. The role requires independent work, good communication and meticulous record-keeping to drive continuous safety improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining the company's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify unsafe conditions, acts and potential hazards.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure safety issues are properly addressed.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and safety inductions for workers.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining risk assessments, Safe Work Procedures (SWP), permits and other safety documentation.
• Monitor workers' compliance with company safety rules and statutory requirements.
• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses and unsafe practices, and assist in preparing incident reports.
• Coordinate safety training, inspections and safety-related activities.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.
• Liaise with supervisors, workers, contractors and relevant authorities on safety matters when required.
• Maintain proper records of safety inspections, training, incidents and corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuously improve workplace safety practices.
