Job summary

ASK M&E PTE. LTD. is seeking a Safety Officer to operate at the project site in Outram Park, Singapore.

You will conduct daily safety inspections, identify hazards, and ensure documentation and permits are up to date. This role requires active collaboration with the construction team to enforce safe working practices and address unsafe conditions promptly. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will investigate all safety incidents, prepare reports, and propose corrective actions for management

Qualifications

• Ensure compliance with WSH Act and company safety requirements.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Prepare and maintain WSH documentation, reports and records.
• Investigate incidents and propose corrective actions for management.
• Coordinate risk assessments and ensure bridging docs meet specs.
• Collaborate with construction team to enforce safe practices.
• Promote proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety protocols on site and report unsafe conditions.
• Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date safety certifications and permits.
• Assist Project Manager with safety-related tasks and coordination.

Job description

• Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and company safety requirements.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
• Prepare and maintain WSH documentation, reports, and safety records.
  Investigate all safety incidents, prepare reports, and propose corrective actions for management review.
• Ensure all safety-related certifications, permits, and documentation are up to date and maintained.
• Coordinate and participate in risk assessments and ensure bridging documentation meets project specifications.
• Collaborate closely with the construction team to enforce safe working practices and promptly address unsafe conditions or practices
  Promote a proactive safety culture and continuously improve workplace safety performance.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager.

This position will be based at the project site: Outram Park
Woking hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00am to 17:00pm
Saturday: 08:00am to 12:00pm
