Job summary

SANTECH ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is hiring a Safety Coordinator to implement, monitor, and maintain WSH management systems for a 24/7 industrial plant project in Singapore. The role covers inspections, PTW review, incident investigations, and regulatory documentation.

Requirements include an advanced WSH certificate or MOM registration, 2–3 years of site safety experience, and preferred Confined Space/Work-At-Height certifications. Shift work will be 12 hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or registered Safety Coordinator with MOM.
• 2–3 years of site safety experience in industrial construction, infra, or chemical plants in Singapore.
• Certifications as Confined Space Assessor and/or Work-At-Height Assessor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous safety inspections and toolbox meetings across 12-hour shifts.

Job description

We are hiring a Safety Coordinator to implement, monitor, and maintain Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management systems for a continuous 24/7 industrial plant construction and upgrading project (3-6 months duration).

• Conduct continuous safety inspections, hazard identifications, and toolbox meetings across assigned 12-hour shifts.
• Enforce MOM health and safety regulations, plant safety protocols, and safe work procedures on site.
• Review, manage, and issue Permit-To-Work (PTW) applications for high-risk operations (e.g., hot work, lifting, chemical handling, and confined space entry).
• Perform site incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) site records, training logs, and regulatory documentation
• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) / Registered Safety Coordinator with MOM.
• Minimum 2–3 years of site safety experience in industrial construction, infrastructure, or chemical plants in Singapore.
• Valid certification as a Confined Space Assessor and/or Work-At-Height Assessor is preferred.
• Able to work on a 12-hour rotational shift schedule (Day/Night shifts and weekends).
• Strong communication skills with a firm approach to site safety compliance.
