Job summary

Santech Engineering is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and monitor Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management systems for a 24/7 industrial plant project in Singapore. You will oversee safety inspections, PTW reviews, and incident investigations across 12-hour shifts.

Candidates should have an Advanced Certificate in WSH and 2–3 years of site safety experience in industrial settings. Confined Space and Work-At-Height assessor certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or MOM-recognized equivalent.
• Minimum 2–3 years of site safety experience in industrial construction, infrastructure, or chemical plants in Singapore.
• Able to work 12-hour rotational shifts, including day/night and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct continuous safety inspections, hazard identifications, and toolbox meetings across assigned 12-hour shifts.
• Enforce MOM health and safety regulations, plant safety protocols, and safe work procedures on site.
• Review, manage, and issue Permit-To-Work (PTW) applications for high-risk operations.
• Perform site incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) site records, training logs, and regulatory documentation.

We are hiring a Safety Coordinator to implement, monitor, and maintain Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management systems for a continuous 24/7 industrial plant construction and upgrading project (3-6 months duration).

• Conduct continuous safety inspections, hazard identifications, and toolbox meetings across assigned 12-hour shifts.
• Enforce MOM health and safety regulations, plant safety protocols, and safe work procedures on site.
• Review, manage, and issue Permit-To-Work (PTW) applications for high-risk operations (e.g., hot work, lifting, chemical handling, and confined space entry).
• Perform site incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and implement corrective measures.
• Maintain all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) site records, training logs, and regulatory documentation
• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) / Registered Safety Coordinator with MOM.
• Minimum 2–3 years of site safety experience in industrial construction, infrastructure, or chemical plants in Singapore.
• Valid certification as a Confined Space Assessor and/or Work-At-Height Assessor is preferred.
• Able to work on a 12-hour rotational shift schedule (Day/Night shifts and weekends).
• Strong communication skills with a firm approach to site safety compliance.
