Job summary

Wan Heng Lee Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Safety Officer to assist in implementing and maintaining Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies at project sites in Singapore. You will conduct site inspections, track corrective actions, and prepare WSH documentation to support safe operations.

The role involves coordinating with project teams and subcontractors, delivering safety briefings, and ensuring compliance with WSH regulations. English proficiency is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in WSH, engineering, construction or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of WSH or construction site experience.
• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and site safety practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with site teams and subcontractors.
• Good command of English; Mandarin/Chinese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining WSH policies and procedures at project sites.

• Assist in incident reporting, investigation and follow-up.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and relevant parties on WSH matters.
• Support risk assessments, SWPs and other safety activities.
• Ensure site activities comply with company policies and WSH requirements.
• Assist with WSH Management System implementation and maintenance.
• Assist with safety-related document preparation and administrative work.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and site safety practices.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with site teams and subcontractors.

• Self-motivated, responsible and willing to work as part of a team.

• Good command of English; proficiency in Mandarin/Chinese will be an advantage.
