XIN CHENG SG PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Safety Officer in Singapore to assist in implementing and maintaining WSH policies, conduct routine inspections, coordinate safety training, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Singapore WSH requirements and safe work practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in implementing and maintaining the company's WSH policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify unsafe conditions, acts and potential hazards.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure safety issues are properly addressed.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and safety inductions for workers.
• Prepare and maintain risk assessments, SWP, permits and other safety documentation.
• Monitor workers' compliance with safety rules and statutory requirements.
• Investigate workplace incidents, near misses and unsafe practices, and assist in preparing incident reports.
• Coordinate safety training, inspections and safety-related activities.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and other safety equipment.
• Liaise with supervisors, workers, contractors and authorities on safety matters.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, training, incidents and corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement of workplace safety practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining the company's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify unsafe conditions, acts and potential hazards.

• Monitor workers' compliance with company safety rules and statutory requirements.

• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety equipment.
• Liaise with supervisors, workers, contractors and relevant authorities on safety matters when required.

• Promote a strong safety culture and continuously improve workplace safety practices.
