Job summary

Landmark E&C Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Safety Officer to support WSH policy implementation, conduct inspections, and address hazards. You will ensure compliance and maintain safety records on site.

The role covers risk assessments, SWPs, permits, training and coordination with supervisors, workers, contractors and authorities to sustain a safe work environment and continuous safety improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining WSH policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards.
• Follow up on corrective actions to address safety issues.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox talks and inductions.
• Prepare and maintain risk assessments, SWPs, permits and safety documents.
• Monitor compliance with safety rules and statutory requirements.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and prepare reports.
• Coordinate safety trainings and inspections.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
• Liaise with supervisors, workers, contractors and authorities on safety matters.
• Maintain records of inspections, training, incidents and corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and maintaining the company's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and identify unsafe conditions, acts and potential hazards.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure safety issues are properly addressed.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and safety inductions for workers.
