Job summary

SUNTEC CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD in Singapore is seeking a Safety & Health Coordinator to oversee WSH activities at construction sites and help enforce safety policies.

You will conduct inspections, organize toolbox talks, support incident investigations, and maintain documentation, while liaising with project teams and clients to sustain a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Valid MOM-recognised WSH Coordinator qualification.
• Knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation and construction safety requirements.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in semiconductor, industrial, cleanroom, or M&E projects is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Organise toolbox meetings, safety inductions, and safety awareness programmes.
• Assist in incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, including risk assessments, inspection reports, and training records.
• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, and clients on safety matters.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safe work procedures.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Possess a valid Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC) qualification recognised by MOM.
• Good knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety and Health legislation and construction safety requirements.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in semiconductor, industrial, cleanroom, or M&E construction projects will be an advantage.
