Job summary

Midori Works Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Safety Officer to support workplace safety by ensuring compliance with WSH regulations, assisting in investigations, coordinating improvements, and supervising workers to keep the site safe and clean.

The role involves following up on inspections, organizing safety meetings, and ensuring daily safety practices across operations at the worksite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Environmental Control regulations and statutory requirements
• Follow up on site walk inspection findings to close reports and assist WSH Officer in incident and accident investigations
• Document daily safety checklists accurately and conduct weekly mass toolbox meetings to communicate safety practices
• Coordinate with site in-charges to improve worksite safety and cleanliness standards
• Monitor supervisors and workers to ensure adherence to safe work procedures and compliance requirements
• Assist WSH Officer in organizing monthly Safety Committee meetings and preparing safety reports addressing safety issues
• Compile relevant safety reports and records and perform daily safety inspections to identify hazards
• Supervise workers to implement safety measures and procedures in accordance with MOM regulations
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors to support workplace safety
