Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore invites a talented Quality Engineer to join an agile team focusing on SaaS testing for government solutions, including Salesforce-based apps. The 12-month contract emphasizes automation, performance, and security compliance within CI/CD workflows.

You will build automated tests, drive test strategies, and collaborate with developers to enhance test coverage while ensuring governance and enterprise standards are met.

Qualifications

• A strong background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SaaS-based (e.g. Salesforce) application testing.
• Proven experience in test automation development and execution with SaaS, enterprise or government solutions.
• Experience with DevOps principles and practices.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and working in Agile teams.
• Strong programming skills in languages i.e. Java, Python.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks i.e. Playwright, Katalon, Selenium, JUnit
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (i.e. GitLab CI/CD) and cloud platforms (AWS)
• Understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce platform architecture and solutions
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks for SaaS-based applications.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web-based SaaS applications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize test coverage and identify automation opportunities.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports.
• Ensure test compatibility with SaaS-based platform updates and security standards.
• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for enterprise and government SaaS applications.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of SaaS integrations.
• Validate application functionality across Salesforce environments.
• Ensure compliance with government and enterprise security standards.
• Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks for Salesforce-based SaaS apps.
• Analyse performance metrics and provide optimization recommendations.
• Test application behavior under varying load conditions.
• Monitor and report on application performance in enterprise environments.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement continuous testing practices to ensure timely feedback and improve product quality.
• Contribute to IaC solutions development and maintenance.
• Participate in test planning and estimation activities (including security testing).
• Execute manual tests as needed to supplement automated testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure effective test coverage across functional and security requirements.
