Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Quality Engineer to automate testing for Saas-based Salesforce applications within an agile team for government and enterprise solutions. You will build automated frameworks, drive performance testing, and ensure security compliance while integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines.

You will contribute to MSF initiatives and modernise the CaseCentral platform, joining a collaborative team focused on delivering reliable software.

Qualifications

Strong background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Saas-based (e.g. Salesforce) application testing.
Proven experience in test automation development and execution with SaaS, enterprise or government solutions.
Experience with DevOps principles and practices.
Experience with agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Strong programming skills in languages i.e. Java, Python.
Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks i.e. Playwright, Katalon, Selenium, JUnit
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (i.e. GitLab CI/CD) and cloud platforms (AWS)
Understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce platform architecture and solutions
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright) for Saas-based applications.
Create and execute automated test scripts for web-based SaaS (e.g. Salesforce) applications.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize test coverage and identify automation opportunities.
Analyze test results and provide detailed defect reports.
Ensure test compatibility with Saas-based platform updates.
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for enterprise and government SaaS applications.
Conduct end-to-end testing of SaaS integrations.
Validate application functionality across different Salesforce environments.
Ensure compliance with government and enterprise security standards.
Conduct performance testing to identify bottlenecks for Salesforce-based SaaS apps.
Analyse performance metrics and provide optimization recommendations.
Test application behavior under varying load conditions.
Monitor and report on application performance in enterprise environments.
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Implement continuous testing practices to ensure timely feedback and improve product quality.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of IaC solutions.
Participate in test planning and estimation activities (including security testing).
Execute manual tests as needed and ensure coverage across functional and security requirements.
